Thank you – and see you next time!

Wow! Thanks so much to everyone who came out and made this a great event! It was such a pleasure to meet all of you, and we hope you all found it valuable.

For those of you who weren’t able to make it, we had 40+ people in 12 sessions, discussing everything from getting started in the business to getting funding for projects, clients, copyright and, of course, how to get work in Portland. And thanks to Deschutes Brewery, who were graceful when 20 people showed up for lunch and drinks afterward.

There were a lot of requests for more sessions, longer sessions, and do it again do it again do it again, so… yeah, we’re going to do it again! Right now we’re thinking of having it in early November, and we’ll have a meeting in a few weeks to get the ball rolling. We’ll be sending an email to attendees to ask for suggestions, but if you’re not on our email list, please contact us. We love all the input, and it’s your participation that will make BeTween a continued success.

And thanks again to ASIFA Portland and our sponsors:

  • The Art Institute of Portland
  • Pinball Publishing
  • Oblique Coffee Roasters

…without whom we wouldn’t have been able to do this- you guys rock!

You may have also noticed our shiny new logo up in the top right corner. Sam Niemann whipped that up for us in [...]

In the meantime, you [...]
